The Michigan Jazz Festival occurs on the campus of Schoolcraft College in Livonia, on Haggerty Rd. between Six and Seven Mile Roads. Olivia Van Goor will be performing at the Presentation (Bill Bolle) Stage along with drummer Dave Zwolinski, bassist Reuben Stump and pianist Mike Harrison. Six stages are located in the air-conditioned comfort of Schoolcraft’s VisTaTech Center. The seventh stage is in the large tent immediately adjacent to VisTaTech. The mission of the Michigan Jazz Festival, Inc., is to promote and encourage public interest, appreciation and support for jazz as a musical art form and a cultural resource. The event will be open to the public without cost to those attending.
