Dancing into Sunset in Fruitport is a FREE Community Music & Dancing Event. This concert featuring Olivia VanGoor accompanied by pianist Lisa Sung, bassist Tom Knific, and drummer Jeff Shoup, starts at 7pm. in Downtown Fruitport at Pomona Park at the Bandshell (Rain Location: Fruitport High School, 357 N. Sixth St.). Pomona Park’s large waterfront hosts fishing, a boat and kayak launch, playground, sledding, and multiple traveling paths. Parkside Pizza and Sub will have their tent down at the bandshell area with pizza on the spot.

Parking is available at The Storage Group, and in marked areas at the boat launch behind the band shell. Parking at Pomona Park will be available, as well as roadside parking. Other parking areas will be marked, with handicap parking available near the band shell on the grass. The parking lot on 6th Ave where we have previously offered shuttle service is open for those who would like to park there this week, however we are not having a shuttle this time. Sorry.

New this season, please avoid parking in areas that may be roped off for construction near the Fifth/Third bank building. And please avoid parking in the bike lane behind the band shell as our non-motorized friends would appreciate being able to mosey through to hear the music.
